Brian Daly

Brian Daly is a Songwriter, Composer, Musician, Founder, Creative Director, Creative Strategist, Branding Expert, Communications Director, Speaker and Director.

Brian has been writing music since he was eight years old. Over the past 25 years he has created BrandSongs and Soundtracks for Television Commercials and Corporate Communications for some of Australia’s best-known brands. He has also composed the title track for the indie feature film, Mikey’s Extreme Romance, that took out the Kickass Filmmaker’s Award at the LA Comedy Festival 2011.

In addition to his screen music work, Brian has composed Choral and Orchestral works. He has several cuts on Mark Wells’ ‘The Long Walk Home’ and ‘Playing with Fire’ releases and wrote and produced the majority of Sue Carson’s debut album ‘Coming to Get You’.

Brian has been a member of APRA since 1988 and he was a part of the APRA Jingle Advisory Group during the digital reporting transition. Brian holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Music Major) from the University of Wollongong.

Brian is also the Global Director of Creative Strategy (previously Global Director of Communications) for Animals Asia, an animal welfare charity based in Hong Kong.
