Peta is an experienced chair, board member and not-for-profit CEO with a background in both the public and private sectors, covering a range of industries including local government, tourism, hospitality and transport.

Peta’s broad skill base includes governance, strategic planning, managing board dynamics with a collaborative approach, financial analysis and budget setting, dealing with conflict and leadership.

Peta has an innate ability to make connections between disparate pieces of information garnered from her involvement in multiple sectors and businesses and to apply this in shaping the strategic direction of the organisations with which she is involved. Peta believes that there is no such thing as ‘set and forget’ in today’s world and if you are not constantly improving, you are actually going backwards!

Currently the CEO of Local Government Managers Australia Queensland, Peta has been instrumental in broadening the reach of the organisation, its membership, stakeholder engagement and support and enhancing sustainability.

Peta holds an MBA, is a Fellow of AIM and AICD, Member of Women on Boards and Member of the Neuroscience of Leadership Institute.

Anthony is the representative of The Duxton, an upmarket pub in Canberra’s leafy inner north. He has experience working with music users in the hospitality and accommodation industries as the former General Manager of Australian Hotels Association (ACT Branch). Anthony is the Government and Public Relations Director of the Pharmacy Guild and the Chair of the ACT Government’s Work Health & Safety Council. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Business Administration and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Brian Daly is a Songwriter, Composer, Musician, Founder, Creative Director, Creative Strategist, Branding Expert, Communications Director, Speaker and Director.

Brian has been writing music since he was eight years old. Over the past 25 years he has created BrandSongs and Soundtracks for Television Commercials and Corporate Communications for some of Australia’s best-known brands. He has also composed the title track for the indie feature film, Mikey’s Extreme Romance, that took out the Kickass Filmmaker’s Award at the LA Comedy Festival 2011.

In addition to his screen music work, Brian has composed Choral and Orchestral works. He has several cuts on Mark Wells’ ‘The Long Walk Home’ and ‘Playing with Fire’ releases and wrote and produced the majority of Sue Carson’s debut album ‘Coming to Get You’.

Brian has been a member of APRA since 1988 and he was a part of the APRA Jingle Advisory Group during the digital reporting transition. Brian holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Music Major) from the University of Wollongong.

Brian is also the Global Director of Creative Strategy (previously Global Director of Communications) for Animals Asia, an animal welfare charity based in Hong Kong.

Cloudia is the Director of Artistic Operations at Bangarra Dance Theatre, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation and one of Australia’s leading performing arts companies, widely acclaimed nationally and around the world.  Bangarra represents Music User’s (licensees) with annual licence fees of under $3,000.

Previously an Associate Producer working across diverse projects, varying in scale and art-form – Her expertise lies in creative producing, event and tour management, contractual administration, budgeting, community engagement, and digital programming.  Cloudia’s dedication to promoting cultural awareness and respect makes her a valuable asset to any team.

Cloudia, travels globally with Bangarra, to support the company in promoting awareness and understanding of First Nation culture. Cloudia’s work involves consulting and connecting with communities across Australia and First Nations communities internationally.

An ARIA and APRA nominated songwriter, member of the Music Victoria Artist Advisory Panel and Guild of Screen Composers, Jake Mason is a 20-year quiet achiever of the Australian music industry.

Jake’s co-write ‘This Girl’ (Kungs Vs Cookin’ On 3 Burners) which charted at number 1 in 10 countries, has over one billion streams and was the most shazamed dance track worldwide in 2016.

Bridging jazz/soul and pop, Jake has released 15 albums and established his own label and studio Soul Messin’ Records. He manages the business affairs of Cookin’ On 3 Burners.

Jake has worked with artists including Tex Perkins, Richard Clapton, Josh Teskey, Kate Ceberano and Eric McCusker and develops the next generation of songwriters through mentoring initiatives including APRA’s ‘Melbourne Sessions’ and long-term association with Caulfield Grammar.

Jake’s screen work spans TV (Love Island, A Million Little Things, MacGyver, My Life Is Murder) and advertising/sync – Just Jeans, Westpac (Australia), Peugeot (Europe), Samsung (USA, played at the Superbowl), Vogue, Victoria’s Secret and the Ellen Degeneres Show.

Jake is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, is deeply engaged with the Victorian music scene and is excited to contribute to the dynamic momentum of Australian music.
